摘要
心理学中的多元文化论运动强调文化的多样性 ,认为传统的西方心理学仅仅建立在白人主流文化的基础上。它反对心理学中的“通用主义” ,认为在一种文化条件下的心理学研究成果不能不加选择地应用到另一种文化中 ,心理学的研究应该同多元文化的现实结合起来。多元文化论运动被称为继行为主义、精神分析和人本主义心理学之后心理学的“第四力量”。
The movement of multiculturalism in psychology emphasizes cultural variety.It holds that Western psychology is only based on the main current culture of the White.It opposes the generalism in psychology and considers the achievements gained in psychology under a certain cultural condition can not be applied to another culture without choice.Psychology research should be combined with the multicultural reality.The movement of multiculturalism in psychology is considered as the 'fourth force' of psychology after behaviorism,psychoanalysis and humanism.This movement is facing some serious problems at present.
