摘要
本文从词的构成、句法结构、语义等角度阐释了英语中A-形容词-、able和-ible形容词以及其它形容词作后置定语的缘由,旨在进一步认识这一特殊的语言现象。
This article,from the angles of word-building,syntax structure and semantics,etc,explores some reasons why 'A-adjectives' and '-able or-ible adjectives' as well as some other adjectives in English are frequently used as post-attributes in order to provide further insight into this special linguistic phenomenon.
