摘要
儒家文化中的劝学是指中国古代儒家以一定的形式,来鼓励个体或群体践仁、修礼、尚德、学习,它包括劝学形式和劝学内容两个方面。在儒家文化的发展史上,儒家劝学形成了相对独立的体系和传统,在发展上它体现为五个段落,即:以“克己复礼”履忠践仁;准拟“大人”涵养素质;学习不已陶冶情性;独尊儒术依经取士;科举制度尽收英才。在此五段落的进行中,儒家劝学表现出特定规律和当代社会价值。其规律为:劝学方式具有继承性;所劝之学的内容具有扩展性。其当代社会价值主要体现为以下几点:一是为中华民族提供了极好的道德人格仪范;二是提高了中华民族的道德素质;三是对中华民族的文化水平提高起了重要的作用。
Encouraging learning in Confucian culture refers to that the Confucian School in ancient China encouraged individual or group to carry out kindness, cultivate rites, uphold morality and learn which included both encouraging learning type and encouraging learning content. In the developing history of Confucian culture, encouraging learning of Confucian School formed correspondingly independent system and independent tradition, which embodied in five sections, they were: carrying out honesty and kindness by exercising self-restraint and returning to rites; following the self-restraint quality of 'the great man'; ceaselessly learning and molding one′s character; only esteeming Confucian learning and enrolling scholars according to classical works; carrying out imperial civil examination system to collect men of ability. In these five courses, the encouraging learning action held by Confucian School showed its own special rules and the contemporary social value. The rules were: the encouraging mode had successive nature; the content of the learning encouraged had expanding nature. The contemporary social value mainly embodied as: 1) It gave good moral human norm to Chinese Nationality; 2) It enhanced the moral quality of Chinese Nationality in certain degree; 3) It played an important part in enhancing the cultural level of Chinese Nationality.
