摘要
词义变化的方式多种多样,长期以来,关于这一主题的研究多停留在描述层面,未能解释词义变化的动因以及变化过程的连续性。引入原型理论的认知语言学能够从深层次阐释词义变化的动因,同时也能解释变化过程的连续性。
Lexical change undertakes various forms.Previous studies concerning this topic inclined to be descriptive and hence did not explain its causes for change and its continuous process.The prototype theory,within the frame of cognitive linguistics,is proved to be efficient in providing explanations for those issues.
