《红字》是霍桑所著备受国内外文学爱好者青睐的美国文学名著。该文章从社会背景、宗教因素、情感本能三个层面出发来解析女主人公海丝特?白兰所生存的外在环境与她的内心世界,将一个从十七世纪宗教压迫环境下艰难解脱,勇于向世俗宣战的、叛逆痴情的女子形象剖析给大家。
