摘要
描述了一种基于嵌入式处理器AT91RM9200和媒体处理芯片TMS320DM642的流媒体服务器的设计。提出了系统的功能结构和组成单元设计,由系统的通信控制单元负责码流的网络数据通信和接口控制,媒体处理单元负责多媒体数据处理,双处理器通过主机高速并行接口HPI实现数据交换。文中还介绍了系统软件结构,ARM和DSP处理器分别采用了嵌入式Linux操作系统和DSP/BIOS实时操作系统。
This paper presents an embedded video system based on RISC CPU AT91RM9200 and digital media processor TMS320DM642, which includes two major functional units, namely, communication control unit and media processing unit. The former being in charge of the coding bit stream communication and interface control and the later undertaking multimedia processing. Data exchange between them is realized via host port interface ( HPI). Finally, the software architecture is introduced. Embedded Linux operation system and DSP/BIOS real-time operation system are adopted by ARM and DSP, respectively.
