摘要
《接骨师之女》是美国著名华裔作家谭恩美的作品,叙述了美国一个华人移民家庭中三代女性之间错综复杂的母女关系,探寻引起母女冲突的因素。试图运用福柯的话语和权力理论及后殖民理论来分析小说中沉默这一主题,并探讨了确认及构建华裔女性文化身份的可能性。
The novel The Bonesetter's Daughter written by Amy Tan,a well-known American writer of Chinese origin deals with the complicated Mother-Daughter relationship,tries to find out the direct and indirect causes of the conflicts between each pair.This thesis applies Michel Foucault's discourse and power theory and postcolonial perspective to analyze the theme of silence,to reveal the conflicts behind the silence,and to probe into the possibilities of breaking the silence,as well as confirming and constructing the Chinese American female's cultural identity.
