摘要
翻译本身是一种文化活动。翻译不仅涉及两种语言,更多涉及两种文化。从文化角度研究翻译成为翻译领域的前沿课题,为翻译理论的发展注入了新的活力。由于中医的特殊性,在翻译中两种文化的碰撞更为突出。通过对中医学四大经典著作之一《黄帝内经》两个英译本的分析,旨在说明文化因素在中医翻译中的重要作用。
Translation is a cultural activity.It’s more than the transformation between two languages,what translation should achieve is to explain and spread culture between two languages.Culture shock is more obvious in the translation due to the peculiarity of traditional Chinese medicine.This paper makes a comparative study on two English versions of Yel ow Emperor’s Classic of Internal Medicine,which is ranked as the first among the four most important classics of traditional Chinese medicine.The purpose is to reveal the significance of cultural factors in the translation.
