摘要
EPC总承包可以节约投资、缩短工期,是工程建设管理的必然趋势。本文通过对安提瓜和巴布达圣约翰港改扩建工程EPC总承包进行系统性的分析和研究,提出EPC总承包必须具备融资能力、技术创新能力、设计和施工深度交叉能力、工程咨询和营销能力;需拓展进入多元化市场的能力、品牌效应的能力、服务顾客价值的能力。同时对安巴EPC总承包进行思考和总结,指出人才、分包、合同管理、新技术的运用及索赔与反索赔方面的不足之处,为今后进一步拓展其他地区的EPC总承包提供借鉴和实践支撑。
EPC general contracting can save investment and shorten construction period,which is an inevitable trend of engineering construction management.In the background of EPC general contracting of Port of St.John’s Renovation and Extension Project in Antigua and Barbuda,this paper made a systematic analysis and research and hereby pointed out that EPC general contracting must be equipped with the ability of financing,the ability of technological innovation,the ability to deeply combine design and construction,and the ability of engineering consulting and marketing,as well as the ability to enter a diversified market,build brand effect and serve customer with value.Meanwhile,this paper carried out thinking and summary about EPC general contracting and put forward the deficiency in the management of human resource,subcontracting and contracts,the application of new technology and claims and counter-claims,hoping to provide reference and practical support for further expansion of EPC general contracting in other regions.
