摘要
本研究采用语料库分析方法,对大学英语教材和通用学术英语进行了语域特征多维分析,对各自功能维度和语域类型进行了系统性描述和比较.研究表明:大学英语教材叙述类、想象类文体较多,而学术类文体偏少,总体上"学术味"不浓,互动性、叙述性较强,与通用学术英语的高信息性和抽象化表达要求尚存一定差距.本研究结论对大学英语教材的编写和使用均具有一定参考价值.
A corpus-based multi-dimensional analysis(MDA)is applied to study the College English textbooks widely used in Chinese universities with a comparison of general academic English.The systematic analysis indicates the major text types of textbooks,by and large,fall into narrative materials involving interaction and imagination,lacking"academic flavour"characterized with more informational and abstract contents found in academic English.The findings are of relevance for textbook writing and use.
