“榜样引领”还是“习惯使然”——地方高校奖学金激励实效及影响机制研究

摘要 优化评奖评优机制以进一步发挥奖学金激励实效,是加速构建现代化教育评价体系的重要抓手。本文基于2021年湖州师范学院学生调研数据,运用Logit回归估计了是否获得奖学金对学生学业成绩变化的影响,并通过广义精确匹配方法解决了选择性偏差和内生性问题。在此基础上通过构建交互项,探讨奖学金激励作用发挥的影响机制。主要结果表明,获得奖学金后,学生学业成绩有明显提升,奖学金激励作用显著。随后,本文从“榜样”与“习惯”两个层面解释了影响奖学金激励作用发挥的内在机制,一方面,学生在校同伴好友中获奖人数越多,越有助于奖学金激励作用的发挥;另一方面,学习规划清晰且坚定的学生,奖学金激励作用的发挥效果更为明显。据此,本文提出了扩大奖学金覆盖面,并强化学生群体间的正向同伴效应和个人学业规划引领的建议,以进一步发挥奖学金激励作用。 It is an important way to accelerate the construction of a modern education evaluation system to optimize the mechanism of award evaluation so as to further exert the incentive effects of scholarships.Based on the student survey data of Huzhou Normal University in 2021,this paper uses Logit regression to estimate the impact of scholarship on students’academic performance,and uses the Coarsened Exact Matching to solve the problems of selection bias and endogeneity.On this basis,the influencing mechanism of scholarship incentive is discussed by constructing interaction terms.The major findings show that after the scholarship award,students’academic performance has been significantly improved,in which the scholarship has a significant incentive effect.Then,this paper explains the internal mechanism of influencing the incentive effect of scholarship from two aspects of"example"and"habit".On the one hand,the more students are awarded scholarships among their peers at school,the more effective the scholarship incentive is.On the other hand,the incentive effect of scholarship is more obvious for students with clear and determined learning plans.Therefore,this paper puts forward some suggestions to expand the coverage of scholarship,strengthen the positive peer effect among student groups and the guidance of individual academic planning,so as to further exert the incentive effect of scholarship.
