摘要
波浪聚焦是研究极端波浪的有效方法,对于聚焦波浪的研究多围绕小波陡的对称聚焦波浪,对极限波陡、临近破碎乃至聚焦破碎的波浪现象却很少涉及。准确模拟和估计极端波浪的几何形态及速度场特性是准确估计海洋平台等海洋结构物极端载荷的关键。采用Newwave理论进行极限波陡下聚焦破碎的数值模拟,围绕聚焦破碎波的生成、演化及破碎过程中的波浪几何及速度场特性等进行研究。将数值模拟得到的结果与试验结果进行了对比,吻合较好,表明该数值模型能准确地模拟聚焦破碎波浪。
Wave focusing is an effective way to study extreme waves.The research on focused waves mostly revolves around the symmetric focused wave with steep wavelet,but rarely covers the wave phenomenon of extreme wave steepness,near breaking or even focused breaking.Accurately simulating and estimating the geometric shape and kinematic velocity field characteristics of extreme waves is the key to estimate the wave loads on offshore structures.Newwave theory is adopted to carry out numerical simulation of focusing breaking under extreme wave steepness,focusing on the generation,evolution and wave geometry and velocity field characteristics of focused breaking waves in the process of breaking.The numerical simulation results are compared with that of the experimental results,whichis in good agreement with the experimental results.The numerical model can accurately simulate the focused breaking waves.
