摘要
涉藏报道属于西方建构“虚拟西藏”的重要表征之一,也是我国学术界研究国际涉藏舆论的重要支点之一。对美国主流媒体涉藏报道的研究能够有助于解释为什么西方受众对流亡藏人持同情态度。当今世界正处于百年未有之大变局,“东升西降”的国际格局变化引发世界秩序大发展、大变革、大调整。在大变局的世界局势影响下,作为美国战略传播机制重要组成部分,以《纽约时报》为代表之一的新闻媒体配合跟进美国“以藏制华”的遏制中国战略设计。作为霸权想象的话语实践,《纽约时报》涉藏报道塑造了较为激烈冲突与对立的“双重他者化”新闻话语框架,带有偏见与傲慢地建构了作为护持美式霸权的“想象的”西藏话语。《纽约时报》建构的“虚拟西藏”成为美国全球战略东移背景下平衡与遏制中国的“武器化”话语。
The international Tibet-related reports are one of the important pivots for international communication study in China’s academic circles.Research on mainstream media coverage in relevant countries can help explain why international audiences are sympathetic to the so-called "Tibet issue".Currently,the profound change unseen over the past several centuries is the gradual unfolding of "the rise of the East and the fall of the West".As an important part of the US strategic communication mechanism,news media represented by the New York Times have cooperated with the US’s strategic design to use Tibet to contain China.As a hegemonic imagination of its Tibet-related news discourse,the New York times constructs a framework of "dual otherization".
