摘要
作为我国对外开放门户的沿边地区,其经济发展水平长期落后于我国其他地区,陆地沿边地区如何突破这种边界效应,已成为我国开放经济发展面临的重要课题。本文利用2003~2015年我国沿边省份114个地级市、地区、州的面板数据,采用空间计量模型,分析了我国陆地沿边地区的边界效应问题,探讨了口岸贸易、交通基础设施对沿边地区经济增长的作用及相关机制。研究发现:我国沿边城市的经济增长水平显著低于同省份的非沿边城市,即我国沿边地区存在显著的边界效应;口岸贸易、交通基础设施对促进城市经济增长有显著的正向影响,并且对于减弱我国沿边地区的边界效应有显著的效果。
The border areas are important regions for China's open economic development,but the economic growth of these areas has lagged behind other parts of China for a long time.How to break through this border effect of these areas has become an important issue of the China's open economic development.This paper uses the panel data of 114 cities,regions and states in Chinese border provinces from 2003 to 2015,and uses the spatial econometric model to analyze the border effects of land-based areas in China,and researches the impact of ports'trade and transport infrastructure on economic growth along the border areas and the mechanism of action.The results show that the economic growth of Chinese border-boundary cities is significantly lower than the non-edge cities in the same provinces,that is,there are significant border effects in Chinese border regions;ports'trade and transport infrastructure have the significant positive impact on promoting urban economic growth,and it has a significant effect on weakening the border effect of Chinese border regions.
