摘要
这篇访谈对媒介考古学的问题意识、概念方法、研究路径与对人文历史研究的价值意义等内容进行了探讨。在最新的认识中,齐林斯基教授以无考古学为方法,从深层时间的角度打开历史的纵向与横向,挖掘变体,并以此扩展未来的可能。在这样的意识中,媒介考古学丰富了传统电影史与更广泛的媒介史的研究,并提供对当下任何僵化同质状态的批判与对更多样未来的想象的潜能。也是因此,媒介思想与媒介实践紧密相连,将历史上的变体与当下的激进媒介艺术勾连起来。
This interview elaborates many aspects in the field of media archaeology including its problematique, concepts, methods and value to humanities. Prof. Zielinski explores deep time of the past opening it both vertically and horizontally to find variations that could envision the possibilities of the future. In such ways media archaeology expands and enriches the conventional history of film and media widely and offers critique to any homogeneous state of media today and imagination to a various future. This is why media thinking and media practice are bounded closely together and why the very early variants in history are linked to the very present radical media art.
