The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the most beautiful and romantic traditional Chinese festivals.It conjures a beautiful scene where people listen to old tunes and sip the sweet autumn tea amid the fragrance of Chinese chrysanthemum in shimmering golden moonlight.The ancient custom of"autumn month"can be found in the Book of Rites.Through the ages,Mid-Autumn customs such as sacrifice,appreciation and worship of the moon,eating mooncakes and wor-ship of the Lord Rabbit have been passed on from generation to generation.People use the full moon to symbolize the family reunion,miss their hometowns and families and pray for a good harvest as well as happiness during the Mid-Autumn Festival,which is one of the most priceless cultural heritages of the country.
