摘要
《化学战争通论》由曾昭抡、吴屏合译,是全面抗战前国立编译馆编译的唯一一部军事学和国防化学理论著作。底本为1927年出版的德国著名化学家、军事科学家韩斯联的名著Der Chemische Krieg第2版。《化学战争通论》的编译工作由官方主导,科学工作者主持并参与,反映了当时在国防化学方面,中国政学两界"以德为师"的价值取向。该书忠实原著,语言流畅,译名规范,注解清晰,出版后对国内国防化学书籍产生深远的影响。该书的翻译出版是全面抗战前国防化学知识在中国引入的一个典型案例,体现了政治与科学的良性互动。
The General Theory of Chemical War,co-translated by Zeng Zhaolun and Wu Ping,is the only theoretical work on military science and defense chemistry compiled by the National Compilation and Translation Center before the Comprehensive Anti-Japanese War.The base is the second edition of Der Chemische Krieg,a famous German chemist and military scientist Rudolf Hanslian’s famous work,published in 1927.The compilation of The General Theory of Chemical War was led by the government with the participation of scientists,which reflected the value orientation of“taking Germany as the teacher”in the field of defense chemistry in China and political science at that time.The book is faithful to the original work,fluent in language,standard in translation and clear in annotation,and has a profound influence on domestic defense chemistry books after publication.The translation and publication of this book is a typical case of the introduction and dissemination of national defense chemistry knowledge in China before the Comprehensive Anti-Japanese War,which reflects the benign interaction between politics and science.
