摘要
民国时期,西医生育健康知识通过报刊、杂志等大众媒介的传播和普及,日益影响社会民众对两性身体的认知。以这一时期的大众报刊为考察对象,聚焦生育健康传播相关内容,侧重分析生育健康话语在近代女性身份建构过程中发挥的作用,探讨在民国这一特殊时代背景下,科学、医学与性别之间的互动。民国报刊中的生育健康传播借科学话语的包装,建构了女性生育的身体,固化了女性的母亲身份,并以此为核心,在民族国家话语体系内塑造了“贤妻良母”“国民之母”等多个理想女性角色。
During the Republic of China, the knowledge of reproductive health in western medicine spread and popularized through newspapers, magazines and other mass media, which increasingly affected people’s cognition of the body of both sexes. Taking the mass newspapers and periodicals in this period as the object of investigation, this paper focuses on the related contents of reproductive health communication, and the role played by the scientific discourse of reproductive health in the construction of modern women’s identity, and explores the interaction between science, medicine and gender in the special era of the Republic of China. The reproductive health spread in the newspapers and periodicals of the Republic of China, through the packaging of scientific discourse, constructed the female reproductive body, solidified the female mother status, and with this as the core, shaped many ideal female roles such as “good wife and mother” and “national mother” in the nation-state discourse system.
