森鸥外文艺美学思想再探——以其发动的数次论战为中心

摘要 森鸥外的美学生涯,始终与德国美学家哈特曼联系在一起。他在与外山正一等人的“画题之争”中,确立了以哈特曼的美学作为“标准化审美学”的信念;在与坪内逍遥的“没理想之争”中,以哈特曼的美学作为武器,针砭时弊,让人们就此知晓了哈特曼的存在,并由此确立了哈特曼及其自身在明治美学界的地位;在与高山樗牛的“译名之争”中,他加深了对于哈特曼美学的理解。虽然随着译介的深入以及学术潮流的发展,他最终对哈特曼美学产生了怀疑,并放弃了建立“标准化审美学”的努力。但其对于日本近代美学的发展所产生的引领及推动作用,却是不容忽视的。他的美学生涯虽然短暂,却与其文学创作一样璀璨。 The aesthetic career of Moriōgai has always been associated with the German aesthete Hartmann,who established his belief in Hartmann’s aesthetics as a"standardized aesthetics"during the"Dispute over painting subject"with Toyama Masakazu and others.He took Hartmann’s aesthetics as the strong weapon in the"No ideal dispute"with Tsubouchi Shoyo,criticized social evils of the day and made Hartmann’s existence known,thereby establishing the status of Hartmann and himself in Meiji aesthetics circle.In the"Dispute over aesthetic translation"with Takayama Chogyu,he deepened his understanding of Hartmann’s aesthetics.Although he eventually became skeptical of Hartmann’s aesthetics as the translation progressed and academic trends developed,he still abandoned the efforts to establish a"standardized aesthetics".However,his role in leading and promoting the development of modern Japanese aesthetics cannot be ignored.Although the aesthetic career of Moriōgai was quite short,it was as brilliant as his literary works.
