摘要
本文基于2002~2018年A股上市公司样本数据,实证检验了分析师荐股评级及其调整对股价崩盘风险的影响,研究发现,分析师荐股评级及其调整在短期内具有参考价值,即分析师荐股评级越高以及上调评级,股价崩盘风险越小;与荐股评级相比,评级调整对股价崩盘风险的影响更大;分析师荐股评级及其调整通过错误定价和投资者情绪传导渠道影响股价崩盘风险;与普通分析师相比,明星分析师评级并未表现出较高的信息含量,排除了明星分析师的"名气"假说。本文研究对正确认识分析师在资本市场中发挥的积极作用以及保护投资者利益方面,具有重要的理论与现实意义。
Based on the sample data of A-shares listed companies from 2002 to 2018,this paper empirically tests the impacts of analyst recommendation ratings and their adjustments on the stock price crash risk.The study finds that the ratings of analysts’recommendation stocks and their adjustments have reference value in the short term,that is,the higher the ratings of analysts’recommendation stocks and the higher the rate,the smaller the risk of stock price crash will be.Compared with recommendation ratings,rating adjustments have greater impacts on the stock price crash risk.Analyst recommendation ratings and their adjustments affect the stock price crash risk through mispricing and investor sentiment.In addition,the ratings of star analysts haven’t outperformed the ones of ordinary analysts,which ruled out the“reputation”hypothesis of star analysts.This study has important theoretical and practical significance for understanding the positive role of analysts in the capital market and protecting the interests of investors.
