摘要
"反叛的女性"是文学中非常普遍的女权主义话题,许多作家已经写了很多具有叛逆精神的作品。女权主义者主张女性在文学和生活中都有追求自己的爱情、自由、身份等权利。纳撒尼尔·霍桑的《红字》展现了海丝特·白兰为守护自己的爱情,与清教社会进行反抗。中国小说家陈忠实的小说《白鹿原》,也讲述了一名叛逆女性田小娥,一辈子都在追求自己的爱情与自由。这两人有一些共同点,但也存在差异。本文主要关注两部小说中的两位叛逆女性形象,发现她们的异同,以及两个女性角色在传统社会的现代倾向。
"Rebellious women"is a quite common feminist topic in literature,and many writers have already written a lot of masterpieces to extol rebellious spirit.Feminists also argue for women’s right and freedom to pursue their own love,identity and so on both in literature and in practices.Nathaniel Hawthorne’s work,The Scarlet Letter shows the heroine,Hester’s rebellious spirit to protect her real love and be independent in the puritan society.Another novel written by a Chinese novelist,Chen Zhongshi,is called Bai Lu Yuan,in which there is also a rebellious female called Tian Xiaoer,who dares to pursue for her love freedom even being looked down upon by others throughout all her life.These two characters have something in common,but differences exist.This paper will mainly focus on the two rebellious women of two novels,finding the similarities and differences of them and the modern characteristics of two female characters existing in traditional time.
