In The Thorn Birds, the representative work of Australian female writer Colleen McCullough,Meggie's trauma writing has multiple features. Her family trauma, friendship trauma and love trauma not only reproduce some of the author's real traumatic experiences to a certain extent, but also present the autbor's inner confession after experiencing traumatic experiences. To some extent, the purpose of releasing pain, releasing pressure and reviving life is realized,so as to achieve the comfort and treatment of traumatic experience.Just like the thorn bird in the legend,Meggie's experience of multiple sexual trauma embodies the simple value that any good thing needs to pay a heavy price, and shows the literary value of the traumatic literary narrative to infect, guide and enlighten.
