摘要
“塔儿变色”谣谶在元代的流传中具有“具体事件”和“抽象指代”两种属性,江南政治精英将元初忽必烈修建白塔、元末万安寺大火等事件解读为政权变易的象征并输出给百姓,以起到动员和造势的效果。同时,江南的不同政治集团总是借用更早时代已有的谣谶元素不断将谣谶解读为对自己有利的内容,并与其他政治集团进行舆论竞争。最终“塔儿黑,北人作主南人客。塔儿红,朱衣人作主人公”一谣因其更加符合五德终始和方位之说,并直接指代到朱元璋个人,较容易为普通百姓所理解等优势,被写入官修的《元史》之中。
The rumor of"the tower changes its color"had two attributes of"concrete events"and"abstract references"in the Yuan Dynasty.The political elites in Jiangnan interpreted“Kublai Khan built the White Pagoda"and"The fire destroyed the Wan’an Temple”as symbols of the change of the Political authority.The elite told the people about it,in order to mobilize the people for the revolution.Different political groups always used“rumor elements”of earlier times to interpret predictions in their favor and competed with other political groups in public opinion.Eventually,"when the pagoda turns black,the northerner will become masters,the southern will become guests;when the pagoda turns red,the man in red will become emperors"was written into the official edited History of the Yuan Dynasty,because it conformed to the law of"De yun-Position"and predicted that the emperor must be Zhu Yuanzhang,another strength of this rumor was easily understood by ordinary people.
