摘要
来华留学生有望成为从“他者”视角讲好中国故事的传播主体,但当前缺乏对来华留学生接触并认识中国文化的路径机制研究。通过收集相关数据,初步构建了来华留学生接触中国文化的路径框架,对比分析了留学生来华前后接触中国文化的路径。结果显示,来华前,留学生间接接触中国文化占绝对主导,其中,间接文化产品接触又占主流;来华后,留学生直接接触(直接人际接触和直接文化体验)占主导,间接接触(间接文化产品接触和间接人际接触)为辅。为此,有必要加强留学生教育的顶层设计,构建留学生对中国文化深度认知的教育体系。
International students in China are expected to become tellers of Chinese stories from the perspective of the“Other”,but there is currently lack of research on the mechanisms for their contact with and understanding of Chinese culture.The current study first establishes a framework of types of contacting Chinese culture based on international students’self-reported channels of contact with Chinese culture before and after coming to China and then compares the channels of their contacting Chinese culture before and after study abroad in China.The results indicate:Before they came to China,indirect contact with Chinese culture prevail;especially indirect cultural products contact occupies the majority.After they came to China,direct contact with Chinese culture(direct interpersonal contact and direct cultural experiencing)dominates while indirect contact(indirect cultural products contact and indirect interpersonal contact)serves as complementary roles.Finally,this study calls for the need to strengthen the top-level design to build an education system to deepen their better understanding of Chinese culture.
