摘要
西方的“艺术”概念在18世纪中叶之后与“美”相结合,产生了“自由的艺术”与“美的艺术”等观念,这些观念从审美的角度来观照艺术,并且用“自由愉悦”与“自由创造”来定义“艺术美”,最终形成了这样一种艺术观:艺术是非功利性的,是审美的;艺术的美来自于艺术家的自由创造与作品所引发的自由愉悦,来自于艺术的内涵所呈现出的自由理性对世界的反思与认识。这种艺术观确立了“艺术即审美”这样一个信念,这个信念虽然在20世纪受到诸种挑战,但仍然有其价值。
The Western definition of“art”was combined with“beauty”after the mid-18th century,resulting in the concepts of“free art”and“fine art”.These concepts were conceptualised from an aesthetic perspective and defined“beauty of art”in terms of“free pleasure”and“free creation”.A view of art is finally formed that is non-utilitarian and aesthetic,that the beauty of art comes from free creation of artists,from free pleasure by his work,and from free and rational reflection on and understanding of the world that the connotation of art presents.This view of art established a belief that“art as aesthetic”.Although the belief that has been challenged in the twentieth century,it still has its value.
