摘要
天才教育是美国伊利诺伊州教育体系的重要组成部分,天才教育质量关系到伊利诺伊州是否成为21世纪全美经济发展的领头羊。目前,为了提升天才教育质量,加之受联邦政府政策导向的影响,伊利诺伊州制定了一系列天才教育政策,并不断适时地调整与完善其政策。伊利诺伊州天才教育政策内容主要聚焦于以多样化鉴别指标、工具识别天才与以多元有效路径开展天才教育,以解决天才教育存在的"机会差距"和"卓越差距"、天才学生培养机制以及天才教育教师数量和质量等问题,真正实现天才教育的全面性发展,这也反映了伊利诺伊州致力于追求教育机会与教育质量的双向公平。
The education of gifted children is an important part of the education system in Illinois.The quality of gifted education has to do with whether the Illinois State becomes the leader of economic development in the United States in the 21 st century.In order to improve the quality of gifted education,Illinois has developed a series of gifted education policies.The content of laws and public policies mainly focuses on the gifted children identification mechanisms,effective practicesin training gifted students and the quality and quantity of gifted education teachers,with the purpose to solve the problems of"opportunity gap"and"excellence gap"in gifted education.It also reflects the Illinois State’s commitment to equity both in terms of educational opportunity and educational quality.
