摘要
清末民初的中国处于一个大变革时代,教育作为"开启民智"和"救国新民"号召中最为重要的一项受到了学者们的普遍重视。在民国诞生的新传播媒介——报刊上所刊登的"教育小说"这一颇为新颖的小说形式恰恰反映出近代教育思想的变迁与发展。报刊业的兴盛繁荣和小说这一文体独特的通俗性与叙事性的双重特征都是近代教育小说得以发展的主要原因。我国教育小说的发展经历从译到创的过程则是从"乞灵于西方"到结合中国传统进行创作,这一过程反映的都是中国近代教育家的思想探索和理论实践。
At the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China,education,considered as playing the most important roleinthe call of"opening the wisdom of the people"and"saving the country by giving people new ideas",was widely valued by scholars.The"bildungsroman"published in the press was a new media born in the Republic of China.It reflected the changes and development of modern educational thoughts.The prosperity of the press industry and the unique popularity and narrative features of the novel style are the main reasons for the development of modern bildungsromans.The development of bildungsromans in China had experienced the process from translation to creation,from"begging for souls from the west"to incorporatingthe Chinese tradition.This process reflects the theoretical and practical explorations of modern Chinese educators.
