摘要
本文运用“语言态度ABC模型”考察了泰南华人对汉语普通话、泰语、英语和汉语方言的语言态度。整体而言,泰南华人对泰语的态度最为积极,其次为汉语、英语,对汉语方言的态度最为消极。分行业看,从事服务业的泰南华人对汉语普通话最为积极,而从事销售业的泰南华人对泰语的态度最积极。此外,受教育程度不同、接受语言教育不同的泰南华人在语言态度方面存在着显著差异。与泰北华人相比,泰南华人对汉语的认可度较低而对泰语的认可度较高。最后,本文对泰南华人语言态度的研究可为泰南地区的汉语国际传播提供参考。
“ABC Model of Language Attitudes”was used to investigate the linguistic attitudes of Ethnic Chinese in Southern Thailand towards Mandarin,Thai,English and Chinese dialects.On the whole,Ethnic Chinese in Southern Thailand have the most positive attitude towards Thai,followed by Chinese and English,and the most negative attitude towards Chinese dialects.Ethnic Chinese employed in the service industry in Southern Thailand have the most positive attitude toward Mandarin,while in the sales industry have the most positive attitude toward Thai.In addition,there are significant differences in language attitudes among Ethnic Chinese in Southern Thailand with different education levels and different language education.Compared with the Ethnic Chinese in North Thailand,the Ethnic Chinese in South Thailand have a lower recognition of Chinese and a higher recognition of Thai.Finally,based on the language attitude of the Ethnic Chinese in Southern Thailand,the study provides relevant enlightenment for the Chinese international communication.
