摘要
乙型肝炎抗原(HBAg)的发现不仅为病毒性肝炎的研究开辟了道路,也给原发性肝细胞癌的病因研究提供了重要的线索。
The discovery of hepatitis B antigen(HBAg)by Blumberg not only opens a pathway for the research of viral hepatitis,but also gives an important clue to the study of the etiology of primary hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Recently the world wide epidemiological survey has shown that the rate of positive serum HBAg was much higher in the highly endemic than in the nonendemeic areas of HCC.This suggests that there might be a close relationship between viral hepatitis B and HCC.In order to make sure of this point,it is important to prove that HBAg indeed exists in the liver cells.In this study or coin stain was used to show HBsAg in the tissue sections.56 cases of HCC(28 necropsies and 28 hepatic resections)and 28 cases of control(nonhepatio desease necropsies)were compared and analyzed.The results illustrated:(1)Among 56 cases of HCC 36(64.3%)showed positive orcein stain of liver cells in the noncanoerous portions,while in the 28 controls only 2(7.1%)gave positive results;(2)76%of the HCC also had liver cirrhosis with 71.4%positive by orcein stain;(3)62.5%of HCC had liver cell dysplasia in the noneancerous portions,with 83.3%positive by orcein stain;(4)In 9 cases of HOC cells themselves were positive by orcein stain.These results indicated that there was a close relationship between HBAg and HCC.Majority of the HOG in this group were originated most probably from chronic liver diseases(chronic hepatitis and cirrhosis)and followed by liver cell dysplasia and malignant transformation.Consequently it should be considered that prevention of viral hepatitis and liver cirrhosis might be effective in the prophylaxis of HCC.
