摘要
《四库全书总目》中有不少关于小说史料的认识,构成了四库馆臣的小说史料观。《四库全书总目》将小说置于子部之中,分为杂事、异闻、琐语三类,指出小说具有寓劝诫、广见闻、资考证的政治、社会和学术功用。四库馆臣虽然将小说与史书明确区分开来,将之作为荒诞不实的象征,但依然肯定了其部分记载具有补史和考史的价值。该问题的研究,对于我们今天认识小说史料的价值以及在治史实践中以小说证史,都有重要的启发意义和参考价值。
There are many understandings about the historical materials of novels in Si Ku Quan Shu Zong Mu,which constitutes Si Ku Guanchen's view of historical materials of novels.Si Ku Quan Shu Zong Mu puts novels divided into chores,strange news and trivial words in the“zi”part,it point out that novels has the political,social and academic functions in help exhorting others,broadening one's horizon and doing textual criticism.Although Si Ku Guan Chen clearly distinguish novels from history books and use them as symbols of absurdity and falsehood,they affirms that novels have the value of supplementing history and studying history.The study of this problem has important enlightening significance and reference value for us to understand the value of novels in historical materials and prove history with novels in historical research.
