摘要
《西域图记》是隋大业年间西域使臣裴矩撰写的一部中国中古时期重要的区域地理著作,长期以来受到相关研究者的关注,但原书已佚,仅有序文保存在《隋书·裴矩传》和《北史·裴矩传》中。日本学者内田吟风先生《隋·裴矩撰<西域图记>遗文纂考》[1]一文,辑录出佚文七则(包括序言),李锦绣先生根据相关文献试图复原《西域图记》的“吐火罗”条[2]。虽然《西域图记》已佚,但从其所存序言、佚文及裴矩在大业年间所主持的对西域关系的实践活动来看,我们大概可以推知《西域图记》在隋炀帝经营西域中的战略意义。
Xiyu Tuji was an illustrated book of the western regions.The only remain are preface and several lost items.The value of historical data was be explored in the field of western regions as well as Chinese and western traffic,but the value of several lost item was ignored.From the preface and several lost items,it can be known that the book was the information,knowledge and strategic of general plan of western regions in the Sui Dynasty.The Three Portals of war and Two Obstacles to through to the western regions which be brought up in the book was the strategic of general plan to conquer the western regions.The information of geography about western regions which be raised in the book was served for the activities of the Sui Dynasty in western regions.So Xiyu Tuji was a book of serving for Sui Dynasty to conquer the western regions.
