摘要
杰弗里·利奇于1974年首次出版Semantics《语义学》,并提出了七种意义类型。分别是概念意义、内涵意义、社会意义、感情意义、反射意义、搭配意义和主题意义。立足于英汉语义对比分析的角度,可以发现Leech的"七种意义"理论在汉语交际当中的适用性以及对汉语学习的指导意义。
Geoffrey Leech first published Semantics in 1974 and proposed seven types of meaning.They are conceptual meaning,connotative meaning,social meaning,affective meaning,reflective meaning,collective meaning and thematic meaning.Based on the contrastive studies of English and Chinese semantics,we can find out the applicability of Leech’s theory of"seven meanings"in Chinese communication and its guiding significance to Chinese learning.
