摘要
翻译是一种以价值为导向的修辞性话语行为。译者之所以偏离原文的言说路径,往往基于特定文化语境中的价值诉求和修辞考量,旨在赢得译语读者对译文话语的认同,达到劝说或诱导读者之目的。鉴于此,翻译教学中有必要引入以修辞为核心、价值为导向的评价方式,将学生的关注重点从单纯的技巧维度转向与价值相关的修辞情境维度以及策略运作维度,就译者如何针对情境中的价值诉求做出有效回应,译者的积极作为在引导价值、争取受众认同、促进理解与合作的过程中发挥了怎样的功效等问题展开深入思考。唯有如此,才能深化学生对翻译实践的认识,有效提高学生的汉英转换能力。
Translation is a kind of rhetorical discourse and behavior with specific value orientation.To persuade or induce the target readers to identify with the translated text,the translator tends to deviate from the original text,with value appeals of the recipient culture and the rhetorical response taken into consideration.In view of this,it is of necessity to introduce the way of evaluation in translation teaching with rhetoric as the core and value as the orientation.The focus is no longer translation skills,but the value appeals in the rhetorical situation and the translator’s rhetorical strategies to respond to the situation so as to identify with the target readers,facilitating understanding and promoting cooperation.Following this way,students can gain deeper understanding of the translation practice and improve their ability of translation shift.
