摘要
在对南通市27个乡镇一年多深入调研的基础上,"乡村记忆暨南通乡村影像志"——一次"把论文写在大地上"的影像书写实践活动于2016年4月3日正式启动。活动邀集20多名南通当地摄影家对选定的10个乡村和1个寺街进行历时两年的视觉人类学调查。调查对人类学、社会学、民俗学、历史学、文化学、图像学等12大类70多项内容进行了观察与记录,这些影像志汇集成南通"乡村记忆"的视觉文献档案,以影像志形式对中国乡村(南通乡村)进行了书写。
Based on athorough investigation on 27 villages and towns of Nantong for more than one year, the project "Memories of the Villages—Photographic Records on Rural Nantong" set on its journey on April 3, 2016, to compose a "dissertation written on the land". The project summoned over 20 local photographers, who would then conduct their two-year visual anthropological research on 11 selected locales (10 villages and 1 temple street) in Nantong.They made over 70 observations and records, contributing to 12 disciplines including anthropology, sociology, folklore, historiography, cultural studies, and iconology, which eventually compile photographical records of these 11 rural locales and form the "memories" of the villages in Nantong as a well-layered visual archive, attaining apoetically photographic composition on the rural Nantong, the rural China.
