摘要
挽潮白归运是清末民初北运河治理中的重要工程之一,除了文字史料记载外,还有河工图呈现,这些河工图兼具时效性、形象性和权威性。本文引多幅清末民初河工图,利用河工图中河道堤坝等地理要素直观清晰,又兼有文字说明工程详情的特点,结合其他史料,详细阐述了从清咸丰到民国初年潮白河决口情形,以及多项挽潮白归运的工程情况。
The bringing back of Chaobai River into North Canal is one of the important projects in the governance of the North Canal in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China.In addition to the written and historical records,there are also many river engineering maps,which have timeliness,image and authority.River engineering map has the characteristics of intuitive and clear geographical elements such as river dikes and dams,as well as text description of project details.Cited several river engineering maps from the late Qing Dynasty to the early Republic of China,and combined with other historical materials,the paper expounds in detail the situation of projects of the return of Chaobai River into North Canal from Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty to the early years of the Republic of China.
