摘要
言语社区在本质上是多语的。在以往的研究中,学者们采用定性和定量等多种研究方法分析言语社区的多语现象。本文采用Ferguson的社会语言生活公式来描绘澳门言语社区的多语现象,研究发现Ferguson的公式基本上能够从宏观的角度对澳门的语言生活进行描述,但是当代多语现象纷繁复杂,言语社区公式化研究已经难以全面准确地描述言语社区的多语现象,这需要我们对言语社区的多语现象进行重新认识和思考。
Speech communities are multilingual in nature.In the study,Ferguson’s formula of sociolinguistic profile is adopted to describe Macao’s multilingualism.The results show that Ferguson’s formula could portray Macao’s multilingualism from a macro perspective.However,it could not make a comprehensive and accurate description of multilingualism of a speech community due to the complexity of contemporary multilingualism.We thus need to reflect on multilingualism of speech communities.
