摘要
兜兰新品种‘西之笑’(Paphiopedilum‘GXAAS Smile’)是以肉饼兜兰‘毅颖巨翅’(Paph.‘Yi-Ying Giant Wings’)为母本,白旗兜兰(Paph.spicerianum)为父本,通过人工授粉杂交选育出的。叶片绿色,长条形。花单朵,色泽鲜艳,蜡质。种子萌发率高,易栽培,易开花,观花观叶俱佳,12月—次年2月开花,单花花期40~45 d。
Paphiopedilum‘GXAAS Smile’is a new cultivar developed by crossing seed parent Paph.‘Yi-Ying Giant Wings’and pollen parent Paph.spicerianum.The plant has graceful plant shape and green linear leaves.Single flower lies in a inflorescence with the red-brownness color.The flower is beautiful,delicate and waxy.This hybrid cultivar has high seeds germination rate,good ornamental value for flower and leaf and is easy to plant and flower.The flowering period is in December to February of next year.The lifetime of a single flower is 40 to 45 d.
