摘要
从美国弗吉尼亚州引进水紫树(Nyssaaquatica)的种子,播种育苗后,实生选育出了水紫树新品种‘雨田紫’。该品种萌芽稍迟,3月底至4月初开淡绿色小花,叶、花同放;单叶互生,叶长卵形,成熟叶长10~15 cm,宽5~7 cm,秋叶转为金黄色;果实长椭圆形,成熟后紫红色。耐水湿,适于农田水网或浅滩等低洼地绿化造林。
Seeds of Nyssa aquatica are introducted from Virginia,the United States,and a new cultivar ’Yutianzi’ was bred from the seedlings. This cultivar has late germination with light green florets from the end of March to the beginning of April,and long-ovate,simple,alternate leaves. The mature leaf have a length of 10–15 cm,and a width of 5–7 cm. The leaves turn to golden yellow in autumn. The fruits are long oval and purplish red after maturity. It is resistant to waterlogging,and it is suitable for afforestation in low-lying areas such as farmland water network or shoal.
