摘要
从人类社会的发展轨迹来看,仲裁往往兴起于商业繁荣、交通发达、社会开放的地区,如地中海沿岸、西欧港口城市,又如我国的上海、天津、武汉等地。而在陆路交通和航空运输尚未起步的中国古代社会,交通形式主要集中体现于水运交通,这便决定码头与仲裁存在某种特殊的关联。武汉作为一座因码头而兴盛的城市,有着浓郁的码头文化,包括码头商业文化、码头移民文化以及因码头生活所积淀而成的各种价值观念。武汉仲裁的产生、推广及发展,在很大程度上也得益于城市码头文化的支撑和带动,伴随城市码头文化的逐步演进而兴起。
From the perspective of the development of human society,arbitration often rises in areas with prosperous commerce,developed transportation and open society,such as the Mediterranean coast,Western European port cities,and China’s Shanghai,Tianjin,Wuhan and other places.In ancient China,where land transportation and air transportation had not yet started,the main form of transportation was water transportation,which determined that there was a special relationship between wharf and arbitration.Wuhan,as a prosperous city due to wharf,has rich wharf culture,including wharf commercial culture,wharf immigrant culture and various values accumulated by wharf life.The emergence,promotion and development of Wuhan Arbitration,to a large extent,also benefited from the support and drive of urban wharf culture.Along with the gradual evolution of urban wharf culture,it is rising.
