摘要
体裁分析能够帮助厘清语篇的基本结构。综观现有研究,学者们多聚焦于学术语篇的体裁分析,对简介语篇的关注不多。因此,本文采用体裁分析的理论和方法,通过考察60篇英汉科技类公司人物简介,对比分析其语步和语阶发现,它们在语步分布、构成和顺序上均存在共性和差异,并由此总结出英汉科技类公司人物简介的语步模式。本文运用该语步模式分析中外公司的对应外文简介语篇,发现案例中的中外公司均存在直接将本族语人物简介翻译成对应外文简介的倾向,不符合目标语语篇的人物简介语步模式。因此,人物简介中潜在的语篇结构及中西方的社会文化差异应在简介撰写时被重视起来。
This paper applies the approach of genre analysis to the study of 60 personal profiles of English and Chinese technological companies(30 for each language).Through a contrastive study,this paper explores the generic similarities and differences of the moves and steps between English and Chinese texts,and concludes two general patterns of the personal profiles for both languages.Furthermore,the current research also applies the two writing patterns to another two personal profiles in order to testify whether the English/Chinese versions of personal profiles of some Chinese/English companies are constructed according to their corresponding patterns.The results show that Chinese and foreign companies tend to translate their native versions of personal profiles into another language without considering the generic regularities of the target language in writing personal profiles.Therefore,this paper suggests that in order to improve their cross-cultural awareness and communicative skills,companies should be aware of the potential structures of personal profiles in another language as well as the social cultural differences between eastern and western countries.
