In classical Chinese poetry,“out”and“in”were originally a common set of Chinese characters with dual meanings, but their meanings themselves did not receive special attention. But if we start from an ecological and humanistic perspective, from the pre-Qin to Tang and Song dynasties, with the development of the landscape meaning in poetry, this group of antithetical words gradually developed aesthetic and ecological connotations from a simple pragmatic perspective. From the perspective of its cultural connotations,it actually reflects the poet’s changing attitude towards officialdom and seclusion,as well as his sense of return from mountains and rivers to his homeland. At the same time,as an artistic presentation,“out”and“in”also reflect a poetic thinking of“inside and outside”.
