摘要
有两种关于前向反事实条件句解释的观点,一种认为前向反事实条件句有且只有一种解释,以刘易斯、杰克逊、本内特为代表;另一种则认为前向反事实条件句有两种解释,在不同的解释下可能有不同的真值,以权、邱等人为代表。分析可知,前向反事实条件句本质上有两种不同的解释——奇迹因果解释和纯粹因果解释,它们分别是不同语境范畴的缺省解释:奇迹因果解释是日常生活中的缺省解释,而纯粹因果解释是科学探究中的缺省解释。
There’re two kinds of opinions about forward counterfactuals’interpretation.One opinion represented by D.Lewis,F.Jackson,and J.Bennett holds that there’s one and only one interpretation of forward counterfactuals.Another opinion represented by B.Kwon and J.Khoo claims that forward counterfactuals have two interpretations.Under difference interpretations,forward counterfactuals could have different truth values.Through analyzing current theories,two essentially different types of interpretations are found for forward counterfactuals:miracle-causation interpretation and pure causation interpretation.They are different context categories’default interpretations:miracle-causation interpretation is default interpretation in daily life,while pure causation interpretation is default interpretation in scientific inquiries.
