摘要
议程设置理论阐释了议程显著性从媒体向公众转移的过程,并逐渐关注受众心理情绪层面。本研究以央媒CGTN在YouTube的传播内容和受众评论为数据,采用社会网络分析方法,从网络议程设置和情感议程设置视角讨论主流媒体CGTN围绕中国形象对外传播的效果。研究发现,尽管CGTN对海外受众存在网络议程设置效果,即CGTN报道过程中对议题关系的阐释能够帮助海外受众建立相似的议题关系联想,但进一步的分析显示,海外受众与CGTN在特定议题框架下的具体讨论内容存在差异。情绪层面的分析结果表明,CGTN对海外受众的情感议程设置效果受媒体报道议题不同而有所差异,在国民素质、国民形象、国民生活这类微观议题下,CGTN对海外受众情绪具有显著的影响,而在具有明显正面导向的宏观议题下,影响可能并不显著。
Agenda setting theory explains the process of agenda salience transfering from the media to the public,and gradually focuses on the psychological and emotional of the audience.This study discusses the effect of mainstream media's international communication around China from the perspectives of network agenda setting and affective agenda setting.Using social network analysis to deal with the data of CGTN on YouTube,this study finds that although there is a network agenda setting effect of CGTN on overseas audiences.That is,the interpretation of issue relations during media coverage can help overseas audiences establish similar issue relationship associations.However,further analysis shows that there are differences in the specific discourse between overseas audiences and CGTN under the framework of same issues.The results of the sentiment analysis show that the effect of CGTN on setting the emotions of overseas audiences varies depending on the topics covered by the media.Under micro issues such as national image,national quality and national life,mainstream media CGTN have significant influence on the sentiment of overseas audiences,while under macro issues with obvious positive orientation,the impact may not be significant.
