摘要
1.中国佛教属于北传大乘佛教。大乘佛教得以成立的关键在于“普度”,而普度的承担者就是菩萨,所以大乘又称菩萨乘。菩萨的基本标志是上求般若智慧,下化无边众生。中国大乘佛教的基本理论架构也是如此,即理论上以般若学为基础,在实践上则以菩萨行为核心。前者决定了大乘佛教的内在特质,后者决定了大乘佛教的外在形式。可见,要理解整个大乘佛教,就必须首先理解菩萨信仰。
The relatively stable structure of Guanyin(Avalokite′svara)culture has gradually takenshape after the belief in Guanyin has spread in China for almost2,000 years.This article firstly classifies the basicsystem ofwhole Guanyin culture in China and cords itsbasic course of history.After this,the article divides Chinese-spreading Guanyin culture into secular culture and religious culture,then,focusing on the religious culture which is the core of the whole Guanyin culture,analyses its twofold structures and its mutual relations,and claims that the inner structure is composed of three interacting dharma-paryayas and the outer structure six belief patterns.At last,the article analyses,through three channels,the connotation of Guanyin thought embodied in various lays of this kind of culture structure
