The SXS can cover a wide selection of spectral windows using interchangeable Bragg crystals and by appropriate adjustment of the Bragg angle. The SXS has been used to observe time-re- solved X-ray spectrum in the 2.5 keV to 3.5 keV photon-energy range, resulting in a demonstrated spectral res- olution of about 13 at 2960 eV with a time resolution of 10 ps. The observed time and spectral resolutions dem- onstrate the applicability of the SXS for studies of laser-produced plasmas.展开更多

It is revealed that the C60 molecular devices show the metal behavior due to the interaction between the C60 molecule and the metal electrode. The current-voltage curve displays a linear behavior at low bias, and the currents have the relation of MI〉M3〉M4〉M2 when the bias voltage is lower than 0.6 V. Electronic transport properties are affected greatly by the doped atoms. Negative differential resistance is found in a certain bias range for C60 and C58BN molecular devices, but cannot be observed in C59B and C59N molecular devices. These unconventional effects can be used to design novel nanoelectronic devices.展开更多

The electromagnetic field mode type of Cassini wave-guide belongs to TE, and the electromagnetic field intensity is stronger near the neck region than at other areas. For Cassini electromagnetic patches and lumped elements, the radar cross section (RCS) is smaller around 7 GHz with -30.85 dBsm, and the absorbing property is better around 13 GHz with 4.56 dBsm difference of RCS from comparing of pure medium. For novel radiation structure of Cassini cross-section patches, the electromagnetic field value is larger in the neck areas of two half patches. At last, the potential application and development of Cassini oval structure are put forward in the electromagnetic stealth technology and antennae design.展开更多

To enhance the tracking accuracy, the target signal classification information (TSCI) should be used to improve the data association. The TSCI is integrated in the data association process using the JPDA (joint probabilistic data association). The use of the TSCI in the data association can improve discrimination by yielding a purer track and preserving continuity. To verify the validity of the application of TSCI, two simulation experiments are done on an air target-tracing problem, that is, one using the TSCI and the other not using the TSCI. The final comparison shows that the use of the TSCI can effectively improve tracking accuracy.展开更多

First, the locations of targets are estimated by the transmitting-mode decomposition of the TR operator(DORT) method employing the signal subspace. Then, the TR multiple signal classification(TR-MUSIC)method employing the noise subspace is used in the estimated target area to get the superresolution imaging of targets. Two examples with homogeneous and inhomogeneous background mediums are considered, respectively. The results show that the proposed hybrid method has advantages in CPU time and memory cost because of the combination of rough and fine imaging.展开更多

As for the case of multitarget, there are few works done due to its complexity. The recursion formula of the posterior Cramer-Rao lower bound (PCRLB) in multitarget bearings-only tracking with the three kinds of data association is presented. Meanwhile, computer simulation is carried out for data association. The final result shows that the accuracy probability of data association has an important impact on the PCRLB.展开更多

Such treatment is only valid in ideal situation but it is not feasible in actual situation. In this article, considering the two factors, the posterior Cramer-Rao lower bound (PCRLB) recursion expression for the error of bearing-only tracking is derived. Then, further analysis is carried out on the PCRLB. According to the final result, there are four main parameters that play a role in the performance of the PCRLB, that is, measurement noise, detection probability, state noise and clutter density, amongst which the first two have greater impact on the performance of the PCRLB than the others.展开更多
