The iterative variables are partitioned into two groups. Then simple optimization approaches can be employed for each subset of variables, where optimization of configuration variables is simplified as a linear least-squares problem (LSP). Convergence of current symmetric localization algorithms is discussed firstly. It is shown that simply taking the solution of the LSP as start of the next iteration may result in divergence or incorrect convergence. Therefore in our enhanced algorithms, line search is performed along the solution of the LSP in order to find a better point reducing the value of objective function. We choose this point as start of the next iteration. Better convergence is verified by numerical simulation. Besides, imposing boundary constraints on the LSP proves to be another efficient way.展开更多

First, this problem is formulated as a variant of the traveling salesman problem (TSP), called the dynamic-constrained TSP with neighborhoods (DCT- SPN). Then, a hierarchical hybrid approach, which partitions the planning algorithm into a roadmap planning layer and an optimal control layer, is proposed to solve the DCTSPN. In the roadmap planning layer, a novel algorithm based on an updatable proba- bilistic roadmap (PRM) is presented, which operates by randomly sampling a finite set of vehicle states from continuous state space in order to reduce the complicated trajectory planning problem to planning on a finite directed graph. In the optimal control layer, a collision-free state-to-state trajectory planner based on the Gauss pseudospectral method is developed, which can generate both dynamically feasible and optimal flight trajectories. The entire process of solving a DCTSPN consists of two phases. First, in the offline preprocessing phase, the algorithm constructs a PRM, and then converts the original problem into a standard asymmet- ric TSP (ATSP). Second, in the online querying phase, the costs of directed edges in PRM are updated first, and a fast heuristic searching algorithm is then used to solve the ATSP. Numerical experiments indicate that the algorithm proposed in this paper can generate both feasible and near-optimal solutions quickly for online purposes.展开更多

When the faults in the system appear, it is difficult to observe the fault isolation between the actuator and the component. In order to diagnose the component fault in the nonlinear systems, a novel strategy is proposed. The nonlinear state equation with only the component system is built on mathematical equations. The nonlinearity of the component equation is expanded and estimated with Taylor series. If the actuator is perfect, the anomaly of the state equations reflects the component fault. The fault feature index is defined to detect the component fault and the initial fault. The numerical examples of the component faults are simulated for multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO)nonlinear systems. The results show that the component faults,as well as the incipient faults, can be detected. Furthermore, the effectiveness of the proposed strategy is verified. This method can also provide a foundation for the component fault reconfiguration control.展开更多
