Real-time monitoring of the 14-MeV D-T fusion neutron yield is urgently required for the triton burnup study on the Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak (EAST). In this study, we developed an optimal design of a fast-neutron detector based on the scintillating fiber (Sci-Fi) to provide D-T neutron yield through Geant4simulation. The effect on the detection performance is concerned when changing the number of the Sci-Fis embedded in the probe head, minimum distance between the fibers, length of the fibers, or substrate material of the probe head. The maximum number of scintillation photons generated by the n/γ source particles and output by the light guide within an event (event:the entire simulation process for one source particle) was used to quantify the n/γ resolution of the detector as the main basis. And the intrinsic detection efficiency was used as another evaluation criterion. The results demonstrate that the optimal design scheme is to use a 5 cm probe head whose substrate material is pure aluminum, in which 463 Sci-Fis with the same length of 5 cm are embedded, and the minimum distance between the centers of the two fibers is 2 mm. The optimized detector exhibits clear directionality in the simulation, which is in line with the expectation and experimental data provided in the literature. This study presents the variation trends of the performance of the SciFi detector when its main parameters change, which is beneficial for the targeted design and optimization of the Sci-Fi detector used in a specific radiation environment. 展开更多

According to the relationship between the meshing stiffness and the inherent characteristics of a seven-speed three-row coupled planetary transmission mechanism,a equivalent concentrated mass dynamics model of the planetary transmission mechanism is established.The natural frequency of the planetary gear train at a specific gear is calculated and extracted.The relationship between the meshing stiffness of each row and the natural frequency of the system is analyzed,thereby avoiding possible resonance behavior by changing the meshing stiffness.These results show that the meshing stiffness,in its range of possible values,has nearly no effect on the low order natural frequency(<4.000.Hz),and that the time-varying meshing stiffness mainly affects the natural frequencies of the higher-and middle-order parts of the system.Changes of the natural frequencies lead to the change of the system's corresponding vibration mode,which will change the vibration situation of the system. 展开更多

Based on detailed analysis of vehicle dynamics, the theoretical jerk characteristics of tracked vehicles at starting phase are expressed. The experimental research on jerk characteristics under different control parameters is carried out during main clutch engaging process of AMT vehicles in terms of acceleration measurement. The test results show jerk calculated from acceleration signal is convincing and basically consistent with the subjective feeling of passengers. And the test results have practical value for the objective evaluation and the improvement of starting smoothness of AMT vehicles. 展开更多

Its working principle,structure and external characteristic are studied. Its mathematical model is presented and its damping characteristic is investigated on the basis of fluid continuity equation,differential equations of motion and Bernoulli equation. The influence of the valve parameters on the damping characteristic is studied numerically. The effects of outboard inductive damping valve and common damping valve on ride and tire load are compared also. The external characteristic of the valve is verified in bench test. The results show that the valve’s mathematical model is quite accurate and the developed valve can be adjust in two stages,which can also meet the requirements of the dynamic characteristic of the vehicle suspension system. 展开更多
