A moment-based criterion is considered to estimate the number of components arising from a normal mixture model. This criterion is derived from an omnibus statistic involving the skewness and kurtosis of each component. The proposed criterion additionally provides a measurement for the model fit in an absolute sense. The performances of our criterion are satisfactory compared with other classical criteria through Monte-Carlo experiments. 展开更多

Industrial and academic interest in how to effectively manage technology resources is increasing as it becomes more and more important.Effective managing of technology resources depends on technology management system,and thus understanding how such system evolves becomes an ongoing research topic.Based on the self-organization theory,this paper constructs an evolution model of technology management system.The simulation results show that the evolution of each of the technology management subsystem is affected by the knowledge growth rate of its own,and it is also affected by the coupling and synergy relationship with other subsystems.Moreover,the coupling and synergy relationship can make the speed of evolution higher than the knowledge growth rate of the subsystem itself. 展开更多

An Algorithm for Cloud-based Web Service Combination Optimization Through Plant Growth Simulation

In order to improve the efficiency of cloud-based web services,an improved plant growth simulation algorithm scheduling model.This model first used mathematical methods to describe the relationships between cloud-based web services and the constraints of system resources.Then,a light-induced plant growth simulation algorithm was established.The performance of the algorithm was compared through several plant types,and the best plant model was selected as the setting for the system.Experimental results show that when the number of test cloud-based web services reaches 2048,the model being 2.14 times faster than PSO,2.8 times faster than the ant colony algorithm,2.9 times faster than the bee colony algorithm,and a remarkable 8.38 times faster than the genetic algorithm. 展开更多

As the huge computation and easily trapped local optimum in remanufacturing closed-loop supply chain network (RCSCN) design considered, a genetic particle swarm optimization algorithm was proposed. The total cost of closed-loop supply chain was selected as fitness function, and a unique and tidy coding mode was adopted in the proposed algorithm. Then, some mutation and crossover operators were introduced to achieve discrete optimization of RCSCN structure. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can gain global optimal solution with good convergent performance and rapidity. The computing speed is only 22.16 s, which is shorter than those of the other optimization algorithms. 展开更多

As the generalization of intuitionistic fuzzy set(IFS) and Pythagorean fuzzy set(PFS),the q-rung orthopair fuzzy set(q-ROFS) has emerged as a more meaningful and effective tool to solve multiple attribute group decision making(MAGDM) problems in management and scientific domains.The MABAC(multi-attributive border approximation area comparison) model,which handles the complex and uncertain decision making issues by computing the distance between each alternative and the bored approximation area(BAA),has been investigated by an increasing number of researchers more recent years.In our article,consider the conventional MABAC model and some fundamental theories of q-rung orthopair fuzzy set(q-ROFS),we shall introduce the q-rung orthopair fuzzy MABAC model to solve MADM problems.at first,we briefly review some basic theories related to q-ROFS and conventional MABAC model.Furthermore,the q-rung orthopair fuzzy MABAC model is built and the decision making steps are described.In the end,An actual MADM application has been given to testify this new model and some comparisons between this novel MABAC modeL and two q-ROFNs aggregation operators are provided to further demonstrate the merits of the q-rung orthopair fuzzy MABAC model. 展开更多

Destination prediction has attracted widespread attention because it can help vehicle-aid systems recommend related services in advance to improve user driving experience.However,the relevant research is mainly based on driving trajectory of vehicles to predict the destinations,which is challenging to achieve the early destination prediction.To this end,we propose a model of early destination prediction,DP-BPR,to predict the destinations by users’travel time and locations.There are three challenges to accomplish the model:1)the extremely sparse historical data make it challenge to predict destinations directly from raw historical data;2)the destinations are related to not only departure points but also departure time so that both of them should be taken into consideration in prediction;3)how to learn destination preferences from historical data.To deal with these challenges,we map sparse high-dimensional data to a dense low-dimensional space through embedding learning using deep neural networks.We learn the embeddings not only for users but also for locations and time under the supervision of historical data,and then use Bayesian personalized ranking(BPR)to learn to rank destinations.Experimental results on the Zebra dataset show the effectiveness of DP-BPR. 展开更多

Through the comparative analysis of public health input in foreign countries,China’s urban and rural areas and the central and western regions,this paper pointed out that China’s current public health input is small,the public health investment structure is unreasonable,the way of government investment in public health is imperfect,and government investment in public health is inefficient.The following recommendations are given to address abovementioned problems:establishing a multi-channel financing mechanism to increase public health input;specifying functions of governments at all levels;optimizing investment structure;creating newpublic health investment modes and promoting public health service voucher system;improving the legal system and management system of public health service;increasing the efficiency of public health input. 展开更多
