The aim of this study is to address the issues associated with traditional magnetorheological fluid(MRF)dampers,such as insufficient damping force after power failure and susceptibility to settlement.In order to achie...The aim of this study is to address the issues associated with traditional magnetorheological fluid(MRF)dampers,such as insufficient damping force after power failure and susceptibility to settlement.In order to achieve this,a bidirectional adjustable MRF damper was designed and developed.Magnetic field simulation analysis was conducted on the damper,along with simulation analysis on its dynamic characteristics.The dynamic characteristics were ultimately validated through experimental testing on the material testing machine,thereby corroborating the theoretical simulation results.Concurrently,this process generated valuable test data for subsequent implementation of the semi-active vibration control system.The simulation and test results demonstrate that the integrated permanent magnet effectively accomplishes bidirectional regulation.The magnetic induction intensity of the damping channel is 0.2 T in the absence of current,increases to 0.5 T when a maximum forward current of 4 A is applied,and becomes 0 T when a maximum reverse current of 3.8 A is applied.When the excitation amplitude is 8 mm and the frequency is 2 Hz,with the applied currents varying,the maximum damping force reaches 8 kN,while the minimum damping force measures at 511 N.Additionally,at zero current,the damping force stands at 2 kN,which aligns closely with simulation results.The present paper can serve as a valuable reference for the design and research of semi-active MRF dampers.展开更多
Achieving vibration isolation,lightweight design,and reusability under impact remains a critical challenge for thin-walled structures.When the goat skull is subjected to impact,both the outer wall of the sinus and the...Achieving vibration isolation,lightweight design,and reusability under impact remains a critical challenge for thin-walled structures.When the goat skull is subjected to impact,both the outer wall of the sinus and the internal bony struts deform simultaneously to absorb energy and protect intracranial tissues.Inspired by this mechanism,we designed the goat sinus-inspired bio mimetic(GSIB) structure by mimicking the outer wall of the sinus and the internal pillar-like support system.The structure consists of dual coupling beams,including a set of inclined cantilever beams representing the sinus outer wall and vertical support beams simulating the internal bony struts.The GSIB structure was fabricated using Selective Laser Sintering(SLS) 3D printing technology,and its mechanical properties were investigated through a combination of quasi-static compression tests,vibration tests,impact tests,and finite element simulations.Under compressive loading,the inclined cantilever beams buckle to introduce a negative stiffness effect,while the vertical supports enhance overall stiffness.Leveraging the coupling effect between these two components,the structure achieves a long-stroke constant-force response,thereby delivering superior performance in energy absorption and vibration isolation.Additionally,the special deformation mode of the GSIB structure enables it to be reused under impact conditions.It is noteworthy that,compared to the negative stiffness(NS) structure with the same dimensions for repeated buffering proposed in previous studies,the GSIB structure demonstrates an energy absorption capacity reaching 214.3% of that of the NS structure,a reduction in isolation frequency to 58.5%,and an impact acceleration that is only 66.31% of that of the NS structure.Additionally,the plateau stress of the proposed structure increases to 246.07% of that of the NS structure.This novel artificial structure provides a new design strategy for achieving superior energy absorption and impact resistance under repeated impact conditions.展开更多
Polymethacrylimide(PMI)foam has the highest specific stiffness and strength among polymer foams,with excellent radar-absorbing capabilities,which provide it with broad prospects in underwater ap-plications.To evaluate...Polymethacrylimide(PMI)foam has the highest specific stiffness and strength among polymer foams,with excellent radar-absorbing capabilities,which provide it with broad prospects in underwater ap-plications.To evaluate the impact resistance of PMI foam sandwich structures,the dynamic response and energy absorption characteristics of PMI foam sandwich structures with different core layers under various water impact loads were investigated using combined experimental and numerical methods.A fluid-structure interaction device with a diffusion angle was used for water impact testing of the PMI foam sandwich structures.The 3D-DIC technique was employed to process the deformation images of the sandwich-structure back panel captured by the high-speed cameras.Numerical simulations were performed to analyze the dynamic deformation process of the PMI foam core.The results indicated that the maximum deformation of the back panel exhibited a nonlinear relationship with the impulse.Below the critical impulse,the maximum deformation of the back panel plateaued,which was determined by the core density.Beyond the critical impulse,the rate of deformation increased with the impulse was governed by the core thickness.Compared with different sandwich panels,PMI foam sandwich struc-tures demonstrate significant advantages in terms of impact resistance under high-impulse conditions.展开更多
To investigate the problem of ethylene jet mixing and combustion in the scramjet at high Mach number(Ma = 8), numerical simulations were carried out for different equivalent ratios at cold and combustion conditions, i...To investigate the problem of ethylene jet mixing and combustion in the scramjet at high Mach number(Ma = 8), numerical simulations were carried out for different equivalent ratios at cold and combustion conditions, in which three-dimensional steady compressible RANS and k-ω SST turbulence model were adopted. It demonstrates that as the equivalence ratio increases from 0.42 to 1.08, the combustion becomes more intensified, and the higher backpressure pushes flame to propagate upstream. The supersonic combustion region in the combustor decreases from 92% to 85% with the increase of equivalence ratio from 0.42 to 1.08, resulting in the transition of the combustor from scram-mode to dual-mode. Both mixing and combustion efficiencies decrease by 35% and 16% respectively when the equivalence ratio increases from 0.42 to 1.08, indicating that the high equivalence ratio is unfavorable to the mixing and combustion processes. Combustion mode analysis reveals that the flame in the cavity under the high Mach number is dominated by non-premixed flames, i.e., more than 95% behaves as non-premixed mode, and the heat release is also mainly contributed by non-premixed flame. Increasing the equivalence ratio is beneficial to the thrust performance. Although the viscous force hardly changes with equivalence ratio, the percentage of pressure force used to balance the viscous force increases gradually,which limits the engine performance.展开更多

Sea-based rocket launches encounter significant challenges stemming from dynamic marine environmental interactions.During the hot launch phase,characterized by low-velocity ascent,the departure of the rocket from the ...Sea-based rocket launches encounter significant challenges stemming from dynamic marine environmental interactions.During the hot launch phase,characterized by low-velocity ascent,the departure of the rocket from the oscillatory platform exhibits heightened sensitivity to external disturbances.In the development stage,assessing the launch dynamics and the clearance between the rocket and framed launcher are crucial for improving the reliability of sea-based rocket launches in rough sea conditions.This study presents a high-fidelity dynamic model of maritime hot launch system,demonstrating 3.21%prediction error through rigorous validation against experimental datasets from comprehensive modal analyses and the full-scale rocket flight test.To mitigate collision risks,we develop a computational method employing spatial vector analysis for dynamic measurement of rocket-launcher clearance during departure.Systematic investigations reveal that in rough sea conditions,optimal departure dynamics are achieved at θ_(thrust)=270°nozzle azimuth configuration,reducing failure probability compared to conventional orientations.The developed assessment framework not only resolves critical safety challenges in current sea launch systems but also establishes foundational principles for optimizing adapter axial configuration patterns in future designs.展开更多

Unmanned combat aerial vehicles(UCAVs) aim to integrate such advanced technologies while increasing the tactical capabilities of combat aircraft. As a research object, common UCAV uses the neural network fitting strategy to obtain values of attack areas. However, this simple strategy cannot cope with complex environmental changes and autonomously optimize decision-making problems. To solve the problem, this paper proposes a new deep deterministic policy gradient(DDPG) strategy based on deep reinforcement learning for the attack area fitting of UCAVs in the future battlefield. Simulation results show that the autonomy and environmental adaptability of UCAVs in the future battlefield will be improved based on the new DDPG algorithm and the training process converges quickly. We can obtain the optimal values of attack areas in real time during the whole flight with the well-trained deep network.展开更多
The accurate and efficient prediction of explosive detonation properties has important engineering significance for weapon design.Traditional methods for predicting detonation performance include empirical formulas,eq...The accurate and efficient prediction of explosive detonation properties has important engineering significance for weapon design.Traditional methods for predicting detonation performance include empirical formulas,equations of state,and quantum chemical calculation methods.In recent years,with the development of computer performance and deep learning methods,researchers have begun to apply deep learning methods to the prediction of explosive detonation performance.The deep learning method has the advantage of simple and rapid prediction of explosive detonation properties.However,some problems remain in the study of detonation properties based on deep learning.For example,there are few studies on the prediction of mixed explosives,on the prediction of the parameters of the equation of state of explosives,and on the application of explosive properties to predict the formulation of explosives.Based on an artificial neural network model and a one-dimensional convolutional neural network model,three improved deep learning models were established in this work with the aim of solving these problems.The training data for these models,called the detonation parameters prediction model,JWL equation of state(EOS)prediction model,and inverse prediction model,was obtained through the KHT thermochemical code.After training,the model was tested for overfitting using the validation-set test.Through the model-accuracy test,the prediction accuracy of the model for real explosive formulations was tested by comparing the predicted value with the reference value.The results show that the model errors were within 10%and 3%for the prediction of detonation pressure and detonation velocity,respectively.The accuracy refers to the prediction of tested explosive formulations which consist of TNT,RDX and HMX.For the prediction of the equation of state for explosives,the correlation coefficient between the prediction and the reference curves was above 0.99.For the prediction of the inverse prediction model,the prediction error of the explosive equation was within 9%.This indicates that the models have utility in engineering.展开更多
Fragments and blast waves generated by explosions pose a serious threat to protective structures.In this paper,the impact resistance of polyurea-coated steel plate under complex dynamic loading is analyzed and designe...Fragments and blast waves generated by explosions pose a serious threat to protective structures.In this paper,the impact resistance of polyurea-coated steel plate under complex dynamic loading is analyzed and designed for improving comprehensive ballistic and blast resistance using the newly established computational evaluating model.Firstly,according to the thickness and placement effects of the coating on the impact resistance,the steel-core sandwich plates are designed,which are proved to own outstanding comprehensive ballistic and blast resistance.Besides,the distribution diagram of ballistic and blast resistance for different polyurea-coated steel plates is given to guide the design of protective structures applying in different explosion scenarios.Furthermore,the dynamic response of designed plates under two scenarios with combined fragments and blast loading is studied.The results show that the synergistic effect of the combined loading reduces both the ballistic and blast resistance of the polyurea-coated steel plate.Besides,the acting sequence of the fragments and blast affects the structural protective performance heavily.It is found that the first loading inducing structural large deformation or damage is dominant.When fragments impact first,the excellent unit-thickness ballistic performance of the structural front part is strongly needed for improving the comprehensive ballistic and blast resistance.展开更多
This paper investigates the feasibility of using an active dynamic vibration absorber(ADVA) for active vibration control of a flexible missile system through simulation.Based on the principles of a dynamic vibration a...This paper investigates the feasibility of using an active dynamic vibration absorber(ADVA) for active vibration control of a flexible missile system through simulation.Based on the principles of a dynamic vibration absorber(DVA),a ring-type ADVA is first designed to attenuate the elastic vibration of the flexible missile,and the design of the active controller adopts the proportional-integral-derivative(PID)control algorithm.The motion equations of a flexible missile with an ADVA,which is subjected to follower thrust at its aft end,are derived using the Lagrangian approach.Taking the minimum of the root mean square(RMS) of the lateral displacement response of the center of mass as the objective function,a genetic algorithm(GA) is used to optimize the parameter of the DVA and PID controller.The numerical calculations show that the ADVA and DVA are effective in suppressing the vibration and provide approximately 41.2% and 17.6% improvement,respectively,compa red with the case of no DVA,The ADVA has better performance than the DVA,When the missile is subjected to follower thrust,the effect of vibration reduction is more effective than the case without follower thrust.It is feasible to reduce vibration and improve the stability of flexible missiles by means of the ADVA.展开更多

Material properties were taken to be arbitrary distribution functions of the thickness. A temperature function that satisfies thermal boundary conditions at the edges and the variable separation method were used to reduce equation governing the steady state heat conduction to an ordinary differential equation (ODE) in the thickness coordinate which was solved analytically. Next, resulting variable coefficients ODE due to arbitrary distribution of material properties along thickness coordinate was also solved by the Peano-Baker series. Some numerical examples were given to demonstrate the accuracy, efficiency of the present model, mad to investigate the influence of different distributions of material properties on the temperature field. The numerical results confirm that the influence of different material distributions, gradient indices and thickness of plate to temperature field in plate can not be ignored.展开更多

First, to decouple constraints of the FOV angle and the terminal lateral acceleration, the third-order polynomial with respect to the line-ofsight(LOS) angle is introduced. Based on an analysis of the relationship between the looking angle and the guidance coefficient,the boundary of the coefficient that satisfies the FOV constraint is obtained. The terminal guidance law coefficient is used to guarantee the convergence of the terminal conditions. Furthermore, the proposed law can be implemented under bearingsonly information, as the guidance command does not involve the relative range and the LOS angle rate. Finally, numerical simulations are performed based on a kinematic vehicle model to verify the effectiveness of the guidance law. Overall, the work offers an easily implementable guidance law with closed-form guidance gains, which is suitable for engineering applications.展开更多

Linear control strategy is examined wherein two and three loop acceleration autopilots with different control usages are developed using an optimal control approach combined with frequency domain constraint. The weights selection and relation with system performance are detailed. Then the nonlinear backstepping recursive method is detailed to determine how well it is able to follow command and its engineering feasibility. The results show that a static unstable missile is controllable, while the actuator bandwidth is the crucial limited factor. Superhydrophobic surfaces have attracted extensive interests and researches into their fundamentals and potential applications.Laser texturing provides the convenience to fabricate the hierarchical micro/nanostructure...Superhydrophobic surfaces have attracted extensive interests and researches into their fundamentals and potential applications.Laser texturing provides the convenience to fabricate the hierarchical micro/nanostructures for superhydrophobicity.However,after laser texturing,long wettability transition time from superhydrophilicity to superhydrophobicity is a barrier to mass production and practical industrial applications.External stimuli have been applied to change the surface composition and/or the surface morphology to reduce wettability transition time.Herein,by temperature tuning,wettability transition of laser textured brass surfaces is investigated.Scanning electron microscopy and surface contact angle measurement are employed to characterize the surface morphology and wettability behavior of the textured brass surfaces.By low-temperature heating(100℃~150℃),partial deoxidation of the top Cu O layer occurs to form hydrophobic Cu_2O.Therefore,superhydrophobicity without any chemical coating and surface modification could be achieved in a short time.Furthermore,after low-temperature heating,the low adhesive force between the water droplet and the sample surface is demonstrated for the laser textured brass surface.This study provides a simple method to fabricate the micro/nanostructure surfaces with controllable wettability for the potential applications.展开更多

This work proposes a rapid and accessible process to fabricate SERS-active substrates with high uniformity and controllability based on two-step laser ablation. Laser beams directly ablate the surface of Si, concurrently creating microstructures and ejecting molten materials caused by the thermal effect that nucleate in ambient air. The nuclei grow into nanoparticles and deposit over the surface. These nanoparticles,together with microstructures, improve the light collection efficiency of the SERS-active substrates. Especially after Au thin film deposition, these nanoparticles can provide nanogaps as hotspots for SERS. By orthogonal experiment design,laser processing parameters for better performances are determined. Compared with substrates fabricated by single 1064 nm master oscillator power amplifier(MOPA) laser ablation, substrates ablated by the primary 1064 nm MOPA laser and secondary UV pulsed laser show more uniform nanoparticles’ deposition over the surface. The optimized largearea substrate has a SERS detection limit of 10^(-8)mol/L for 4-aminothiophenol(4-ATP), indicating the potential realworld applications for trace detection.展开更多

文摘Achieving vibration isolation,lightweight design,and reusability under impact remains a critical challenge for thin-walled structures.When the goat skull is subjected to impact,both the outer wall of the sinus and the internal bony struts deform simultaneously to absorb energy and protect intracranial tissues.Inspired by this mechanism,we designed the goat sinus-inspired bio mimetic(GSIB) structure by mimicking the outer wall of the sinus and the internal pillar-like support system.The structure consists of dual coupling beams,including a set of inclined cantilever beams representing the sinus outer wall and vertical support beams simulating the internal bony struts.The GSIB structure was fabricated using Selective Laser Sintering(SLS) 3D printing technology,and its mechanical properties were investigated through a combination of quasi-static compression tests,vibration tests,impact tests,and finite element simulations.Under compressive loading,the inclined cantilever beams buckle to introduce a negative stiffness effect,while the vertical supports enhance overall stiffness.Leveraging the coupling effect between these two components,the structure achieves a long-stroke constant-force response,thereby delivering superior performance in energy absorption and vibration isolation.Additionally,the special deformation mode of the GSIB structure enables it to be reused under impact conditions.It is noteworthy that,compared to the negative stiffness(NS) structure with the same dimensions for repeated buffering proposed in previous studies,the GSIB structure demonstrates an energy absorption capacity reaching 214.3% of that of the NS structure,a reduction in isolation frequency to 58.5%,and an impact acceleration that is only 66.31% of that of the NS structure.Additionally,the plateau stress of the proposed structure increases to 246.07% of that of the NS structure.This novel artificial structure provides a new design strategy for achieving superior energy absorption and impact resistance under repeated impact conditions.
文摘Polymethacrylimide(PMI)foam has the highest specific stiffness and strength among polymer foams,with excellent radar-absorbing capabilities,which provide it with broad prospects in underwater ap-plications.To evaluate the impact resistance of PMI foam sandwich structures,the dynamic response and energy absorption characteristics of PMI foam sandwich structures with different core layers under various water impact loads were investigated using combined experimental and numerical methods.A fluid-structure interaction device with a diffusion angle was used for water impact testing of the PMI foam sandwich structures.The 3D-DIC technique was employed to process the deformation images of the sandwich-structure back panel captured by the high-speed cameras.Numerical simulations were performed to analyze the dynamic deformation process of the PMI foam core.The results indicated that the maximum deformation of the back panel exhibited a nonlinear relationship with the impulse.Below the critical impulse,the maximum deformation of the back panel plateaued,which was determined by the core density.Beyond the critical impulse,the rate of deformation increased with the impulse was governed by the core thickness.Compared with different sandwich panels,PMI foam sandwich struc-tures demonstrate significant advantages in terms of impact resistance under high-impulse conditions.
文摘To investigate the problem of ethylene jet mixing and combustion in the scramjet at high Mach number(Ma = 8), numerical simulations were carried out for different equivalent ratios at cold and combustion conditions, in which three-dimensional steady compressible RANS and k-ω SST turbulence model were adopted. It demonstrates that as the equivalence ratio increases from 0.42 to 1.08, the combustion becomes more intensified, and the higher backpressure pushes flame to propagate upstream. The supersonic combustion region in the combustor decreases from 92% to 85% with the increase of equivalence ratio from 0.42 to 1.08, resulting in the transition of the combustor from scram-mode to dual-mode. Both mixing and combustion efficiencies decrease by 35% and 16% respectively when the equivalence ratio increases from 0.42 to 1.08, indicating that the high equivalence ratio is unfavorable to the mixing and combustion processes. Combustion mode analysis reveals that the flame in the cavity under the high Mach number is dominated by non-premixed flames, i.e., more than 95% behaves as non-premixed mode, and the heat release is also mainly contributed by non-premixed flame. Increasing the equivalence ratio is beneficial to the thrust performance. Although the viscous force hardly changes with equivalence ratio, the percentage of pressure force used to balance the viscous force increases gradually,which limits the engine performance.

文摘Multi-axle heavy-duty vehicles(MHVs)are essential for military equipment transport due to their safety and stability.However,braking dynamic responses between MHVs and pavement systems still remain underexplored,particularly regarding their complex load transfer mechanisms.This paper develops an enhanced model of a multi-axle heavy-duty vehicle(MHV)coupled with the uneven and flexible pavement.An advanced coupling iterative method is proposed to solve the highly dimensional equations of the MHV-pavement coupled system.The proposed method was validated through experimental tests,with characteristic parameters of vertical accelerations showing relative errors between 0.42%and 11.80%.The coupling effect and influence mechanism of the braking process are investigated by characteristic parameters of the dynamic responses.Additionally,the influences of braking conditions and pavement parameters are analyzed in time and frequency domains in order to reveal the vibration mechanisms of the coupled system.Moreover,this study establishes a theoretical foundation for monitoring pavement health via vehicle-mounted acceleration signals,which is necessary in military transportation.

文摘Sea-based rocket launches encounter significant challenges stemming from dynamic marine environmental interactions.During the hot launch phase,characterized by low-velocity ascent,the departure of the rocket from the oscillatory platform exhibits heightened sensitivity to external disturbances.In the development stage,assessing the launch dynamics and the clearance between the rocket and framed launcher are crucial for improving the reliability of sea-based rocket launches in rough sea conditions.This study presents a high-fidelity dynamic model of maritime hot launch system,demonstrating 3.21%prediction error through rigorous validation against experimental datasets from comprehensive modal analyses and the full-scale rocket flight test.To mitigate collision risks,we develop a computational method employing spatial vector analysis for dynamic measurement of rocket-launcher clearance during departure.Systematic investigations reveal that in rough sea conditions,optimal departure dynamics are achieved at θ_(thrust)=270°nozzle azimuth configuration,reducing failure probability compared to conventional orientations.The developed assessment framework not only resolves critical safety challenges in current sea launch systems but also establishes foundational principles for optimizing adapter axial configuration patterns in future designs.

文摘Paint removal from steel structure is executed for shipyards of marine and offshore engineering.Due to environmental unfriendliness and unhealthy drawbacks of sand blasting technique, laser ablation technique is proposed as a substituting method.By absorbing high energy of the 1064 nm pulsed laser, the paint is vaporized quickly.The ablated debris is then collected by using a suction pump.Initial metal surface of the steel is exposed when laser beam irradiates perpendicularly and scans over it.The cleaned surface fulfills the requirements of surface preparation standards ISO 8501 of SA2.The adhesion is further characterized with pull-off test after carrying out painting with Jotamastic 87 aluminum paint.The repainting can be embedded onto the laser cleaned surface to bond much more tightly.The excellent adhesion strength of 20 MPa between repainted coating and the substrate is achieved, which is higher than what is required by shipyards applications.

文摘The ever-changing battlefield environment requires the use of robust and adaptive technologies integrated into a reliable platform. Unmanned combat aerial vehicles(UCAVs) aim to integrate such advanced technologies while increasing the tactical capabilities of combat aircraft. As a research object, common UCAV uses the neural network fitting strategy to obtain values of attack areas. However, this simple strategy cannot cope with complex environmental changes and autonomously optimize decision-making problems. To solve the problem, this paper proposes a new deep deterministic policy gradient(DDPG) strategy based on deep reinforcement learning for the attack area fitting of UCAVs in the future battlefield. Simulation results show that the autonomy and environmental adaptability of UCAVs in the future battlefield will be improved based on the new DDPG algorithm and the training process converges quickly. We can obtain the optimal values of attack areas in real time during the whole flight with the well-trained deep network.
文摘The accurate and efficient prediction of explosive detonation properties has important engineering significance for weapon design.Traditional methods for predicting detonation performance include empirical formulas,equations of state,and quantum chemical calculation methods.In recent years,with the development of computer performance and deep learning methods,researchers have begun to apply deep learning methods to the prediction of explosive detonation performance.The deep learning method has the advantage of simple and rapid prediction of explosive detonation properties.However,some problems remain in the study of detonation properties based on deep learning.For example,there are few studies on the prediction of mixed explosives,on the prediction of the parameters of the equation of state of explosives,and on the application of explosive properties to predict the formulation of explosives.Based on an artificial neural network model and a one-dimensional convolutional neural network model,three improved deep learning models were established in this work with the aim of solving these problems.The training data for these models,called the detonation parameters prediction model,JWL equation of state(EOS)prediction model,and inverse prediction model,was obtained through the KHT thermochemical code.After training,the model was tested for overfitting using the validation-set test.Through the model-accuracy test,the prediction accuracy of the model for real explosive formulations was tested by comparing the predicted value with the reference value.The results show that the model errors were within 10%and 3%for the prediction of detonation pressure and detonation velocity,respectively.The accuracy refers to the prediction of tested explosive formulations which consist of TNT,RDX and HMX.For the prediction of the equation of state for explosives,the correlation coefficient between the prediction and the reference curves was above 0.99.For the prediction of the inverse prediction model,the prediction error of the explosive equation was within 9%.This indicates that the models have utility in engineering.

文摘Fragments and blast waves generated by explosions pose a serious threat to protective structures.In this paper,the impact resistance of polyurea-coated steel plate under complex dynamic loading is analyzed and designed for improving comprehensive ballistic and blast resistance using the newly established computational evaluating model.Firstly,according to the thickness and placement effects of the coating on the impact resistance,the steel-core sandwich plates are designed,which are proved to own outstanding comprehensive ballistic and blast resistance.Besides,the distribution diagram of ballistic and blast resistance for different polyurea-coated steel plates is given to guide the design of protective structures applying in different explosion scenarios.Furthermore,the dynamic response of designed plates under two scenarios with combined fragments and blast loading is studied.The results show that the synergistic effect of the combined loading reduces both the ballistic and blast resistance of the polyurea-coated steel plate.Besides,the acting sequence of the fragments and blast affects the structural protective performance heavily.It is found that the first loading inducing structural large deformation or damage is dominant.When fragments impact first,the excellent unit-thickness ballistic performance of the structural front part is strongly needed for improving the comprehensive ballistic and blast resistance.

文摘This paper investigates the feasibility of using an active dynamic vibration absorber(ADVA) for active vibration control of a flexible missile system through simulation.Based on the principles of a dynamic vibration absorber(DVA),a ring-type ADVA is first designed to attenuate the elastic vibration of the flexible missile,and the design of the active controller adopts the proportional-integral-derivative(PID)control algorithm.The motion equations of a flexible missile with an ADVA,which is subjected to follower thrust at its aft end,are derived using the Lagrangian approach.Taking the minimum of the root mean square(RMS) of the lateral displacement response of the center of mass as the objective function,a genetic algorithm(GA) is used to optimize the parameter of the DVA and PID controller.The numerical calculations show that the ADVA and DVA are effective in suppressing the vibration and provide approximately 41.2% and 17.6% improvement,respectively,compa red with the case of no DVA,The ADVA has better performance than the DVA,When the missile is subjected to follower thrust,the effect of vibration reduction is more effective than the case without follower thrust.It is feasible to reduce vibration and improve the stability of flexible missiles by means of the ADVA.

文摘The thermal conduction behavior of the three-dimensional axisymmetric functionally graded circular plate was studied under thermal loads on its top and bottom surfaces. Material properties were taken to be arbitrary distribution functions of the thickness. A temperature function that satisfies thermal boundary conditions at the edges and the variable separation method were used to reduce equation governing the steady state heat conduction to an ordinary differential equation (ODE) in the thickness coordinate which was solved analytically. Next, resulting variable coefficients ODE due to arbitrary distribution of material properties along thickness coordinate was also solved by the Peano-Baker series. Some numerical examples were given to demonstrate the accuracy, efficiency of the present model, mad to investigate the influence of different distributions of material properties on the temperature field. The numerical results confirm that the influence of different material distributions, gradient indices and thickness of plate to temperature field in plate can not be ignored.

文摘In this paper, a trajectory shaping guidance law,which considers constraints of field-of-view(FOV) angle, impact angle, and terminal lateral acceleration, is proposed for a constant speed missile against a stationary target. First, to decouple constraints of the FOV angle and the terminal lateral acceleration, the third-order polynomial with respect to the line-ofsight(LOS) angle is introduced. Based on an analysis of the relationship between the looking angle and the guidance coefficient,the boundary of the coefficient that satisfies the FOV constraint is obtained. The terminal guidance law coefficient is used to guarantee the convergence of the terminal conditions. Furthermore, the proposed law can be implemented under bearingsonly information, as the guidance command does not involve the relative range and the LOS angle rate. Finally, numerical simulations are performed based on a kinematic vehicle model to verify the effectiveness of the guidance law. Overall, the work offers an easily implementable guidance law with closed-form guidance gains, which is suitable for engineering applications.

文摘The challenge and control problems of static unstable missiles are presented. The steady-state benefits of static instability are illustrated, while the corresponding control challenge is described both by the characteristic lag of airframe and the increment of necessary control usage. Control limitation led by unstable zero-pole pair is analyzed for preliminary design and evaluation. Linear control strategy is examined wherein two and three loop acceleration autopilots with different control usages are developed using an optimal control approach combined with frequency domain constraint. The weights selection and relation with system performance are detailed. Then the nonlinear backstepping recursive method is detailed to determine how well it is able to follow command and its engineering feasibility. The results show that a static unstable missile is controllable, while the actuator bandwidth is the crucial limited factor. There should be a compromise between overall performance and actuator payment.

文摘This paper focuses on the solution to the dynamic affine formation control problem for multiple networked underactuated quad-rotor unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)to achieve a configuration that preserves collinearity and ratios of distances for a target configuration.In particular,it is investigated that the quad-rotor UAVs are steered to track a reference linear velocity while maintaining a desired three-dimensional target formation.Firstly,by integrating the properties of the affine transformation and the stress matrix,the design of the target formation is convenient and applicable for various three-dimensional geometric patterns.Secondly,a distributed control method is proposed under a hierarchical framework.By introducing an intermediary control input for each quad-rotor UAV in the position loop,the necessary thrust input and the desired attitude are extracted.In the attitude loop,the desired attitude represented by the unit quaternion is tracked by the designed torque input.Both conditions of linear velocity unavailability and mutual collision avoidance are also tackled.In terms of Lyapunov theory,it is prooved that the overall closed-loop error system is asymptotically stable.Finally,two illustrative examples are simulated to validate the effectiveness of the proposed theoretical results.

文摘This paper focuses on the influence of the disturbance rejection rate(DRR)and parasitic loop parameters on the stability domain of the roll-pitch seeker's guidance system.The DRR models of the roll-pitch seeker caused by different types of disturbance torques and the scale deviation of different sensors are established.The optimal DRR model of the roll-pitch seeker,which contains the scale deviation model,is proposed by formula derivation.The model of the roll-pitch seeker's guidance system is established and equivalently simplified by the dimensionless method.The Lyapunov stability criterion for stability analysis of the guidance system is given by means of the passivity theorem and related definitions and lemmas.A simplified model of the roll-pitch seeker's guidance system,which is suitable for the Lyapunov stability criterion,is established by formula derivation and equivalent transformation.Three conditions that satisfy the Lyapunov stability criterion are obtained.Mathematical simulation with Nyquist plots is used to analyze the influence of different DRR parameters on the stability domain of the roll-pitch seeker's guidance system.Simulation results of this paper can provide reference for the stability analysis of systems related to the roll-pitch seeker.

文摘Superhydrophobic surfaces have attracted extensive interests and researches into their fundamentals and potential applications.Laser texturing provides the convenience to fabricate the hierarchical micro/nanostructures for superhydrophobicity.However,after laser texturing,long wettability transition time from superhydrophilicity to superhydrophobicity is a barrier to mass production and practical industrial applications.External stimuli have been applied to change the surface composition and/or the surface morphology to reduce wettability transition time.Herein,by temperature tuning,wettability transition of laser textured brass surfaces is investigated.Scanning electron microscopy and surface contact angle measurement are employed to characterize the surface morphology and wettability behavior of the textured brass surfaces.By low-temperature heating(100℃~150℃),partial deoxidation of the top Cu O layer occurs to form hydrophobic Cu_2O.Therefore,superhydrophobicity without any chemical coating and surface modification could be achieved in a short time.Furthermore,after low-temperature heating,the low adhesive force between the water droplet and the sample surface is demonstrated for the laser textured brass surface.This study provides a simple method to fabricate the micro/nanostructure surfaces with controllable wettability for the potential applications.

文摘Variable stiffness composite laminates(VSCLs)are promising in aerospace engineering due to their designable material properties through changing fiber angles and stacking sequences.Aiming to control the thermal postbuckling and nonlinear panel flutter motions of VSCLs,a full-order numerical model is developed based on the linear quadratic regulator(LQR)algorithm in control theory,the classical laminate plate theory(CLPT)considering von Kármán geometrical nonlinearity,and the first-order Piston theory.The critical buckling temperature and the critical aerodynamic pressure of VSCLs are parametrically investigated.The location and shape of piezoelectric actuators for optimal control of the dynamic responses of VSCLs are determined through comparing the norms of feedback control gain(NFCG).Numerical simulations show that the temperature field has a great effect on aeroelastic tailoring of VSCLs;the curvilinear fiber path of VSCLs can significantly affect the optimal location and shape of piezoelectric actuator for flutter suppression;the unstable panel flutter and the thermal postbuckling deflection can be suppressed effectively through optimal design of piezoelectric patches.

文摘Surface-enhanced Raman scattering(SERS) has been widely used as an effective technique for lowconcentration molecules detections in the past decades. This work proposes a rapid and accessible process to fabricate SERS-active substrates with high uniformity and controllability based on two-step laser ablation. Laser beams directly ablate the surface of Si, concurrently creating microstructures and ejecting molten materials caused by the thermal effect that nucleate in ambient air. The nuclei grow into nanoparticles and deposit over the surface. These nanoparticles,together with microstructures, improve the light collection efficiency of the SERS-active substrates. Especially after Au thin film deposition, these nanoparticles can provide nanogaps as hotspots for SERS. By orthogonal experiment design,laser processing parameters for better performances are determined. Compared with substrates fabricated by single 1064 nm master oscillator power amplifier(MOPA) laser ablation, substrates ablated by the primary 1064 nm MOPA laser and secondary UV pulsed laser show more uniform nanoparticles’ deposition over the surface. The optimized largearea substrate has a SERS detection limit of 10^(-8)mol/L for 4-aminothiophenol(4-ATP), indicating the potential realworld applications for trace detection.
