Link16 data link is the communication standard of the joint tactical information distribution system(JTIDS)used by the U.S.military and North Atlantic Treaty Organization,which is applied as the opportunistic illuminator for passive radar in this paper.The time-domain expression of the Link16 signal is established,and its ambiguity function expression is derived.The timedelay dimension and Doppler dimension side peaks of which lead to the appearance of the false target during target detection.To solve the problem,the time-delay dimension and Doppler dimension side peaks suppression methods are proposed.For the problem that the conventional mismatched filter(MMF)cannot suppress the time-delay dimension side peaks,a neighborhood MMF(NMMF)is proposed.Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods. 展开更多

This paper proposes an optimal deployment method of heterogeneous multistatic radars to construct arc barrier coverage with location restrictions.This method analyzes and proves the properties of different deployment patterns in the optimal deployment sequence.Based on these properties and considering location restrictions,it introduces an optimization model of arc barrier coverage and aims to minimize the total deployment cost of heterogeneous multistatic radars.To overcome the non-convexity of the model and the non-analytical nature of the objective function,an algorithm combining integer line programming and the cuckoo search algorithm(CSA)is proposed.The proposed algorithm can determine the number of receivers and transmitters in each optimal deployment squence to minimize the total placement cost.Simulations are conducted in different conditions to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method. 展开更多

This paper focuses on the adaptive detection of range and Doppler dual-spread targets in non-homogeneous and nonGaussian sea clutter.The sea clutter from two polarimetric channels is modeled as a compound-Gaussian model with different parameters,and the target is modeled as a subspace rangespread target model.The persymmetric structure is used to model the clutter covariance matrix,in order to reduce the reliance on secondary data of the designed detectors.Three adaptive polarimetric persymmetric detectors are designed based on the generalized likelihood ratio test(GLRT),Rao test,and Wald test.All the proposed detectors have constant falsealarm rate property with respect to the clutter texture,the speckle covariance matrix.Experimental results on simulated and measured data show that three adaptive detectors outperform the competitors in different clutter environments,and the proposed GLRT detector has the best detection performance under different parameters. 展开更多

To tackle the challenges of intractable parameter tun-ing,significant computational expenditure and imprecise model-driven sparse-based direction of arrival(DOA)estimation with array error(AE),this paper proposes a deep unfolded amplitude-phase error self-calibration network.Firstly,a sparse-based DOA model with an array convex error restriction is established,which gets resolved via an alternating iterative minimization(AIM)algo-rithm.The algorithm is then unrolled to a deep network known as AE-AIM Network(AE-AIM-Net),where all parameters are opti-mized through multi-task learning using the constructed com-plete dataset.The results of the simulation and theoretical analy-sis suggest that the proposed unfolded network achieves lower computational costs compared to typical sparse recovery meth-ods.Furthermore,it maintains excellent estimation performance even in the presence of array magnitude-phase errors. 展开更多

The seriously range-ambiguous clutter is one of the main problems in clutter suppression for hypersonic vehicle-borne forward-looking radar. An approach based on the frequency diverse array (FDA) technique is proposed to mitigate the range ambiguous clutter. The frequency increment is designed to distinguish the clutter at ambiguous ranges and suppress the clutter by using a subspace projection algorithm. On the platform with high altitude or limited array antennas, the proposed method performs better for its independence of the elevation degrees-of-freedom (DOF). Finally, simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed method. 展开更多
